In our 53 calendar year marriage, my husband, Ben Kaplow, certainly not spoke about World War 11 with me. Drafted in Rochester, NY, 1943, Ben's travels took him thru Camp Upton, NY, Camp Croft, S.Do., Army Specialized Education Software (ASTP) at the College of Connecticut, Camp Campbell, KY, then intense teaching in the Tennessee Maneuvers, Fort Jackson, and as a final point a troop ship to Cherbourg, France on Sept. 7, 1944 with the third Army, twenty sixth Division, 104th Infantry Division, 2nd Battalion. The 104th fought thru France, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Germany in the Fight of the Bulge. Ben was awarded a Bronze Star. In 2007, his funeral was at Arlington Cemetery.

Buddies, loved ones and pupils at Brighton Great College and the College of Rochester, close to Ben's age, at that time 19, manufactured mp3s so viewers could study and/or hear to the letters. The letters are an vital glance again at the sixty fifth Anniversary of Fight of the Bulge.
